When booking a yacht feels as confident as sailing one.

Chartering a yacht isn't like booking a hotel room. Unfamiliar terms, unclear options, and no real sense of what "experience type" even means can make a first-time booking feel intimidating. Aurelia Seas rethinks that experience, guiding people through the process with clarity and confidence, so booking a charter feels like part of the luxury and not a hurdle before it.

Where Confidence Broke Down

Where Confidence Broke Down

Where Confidence Broke Down

Yacht chartering isn't something most people do often, so the vocabulary — "experience type," "charter," fleet categories can feel like a foreign language before someone even reaches the booking form. That gap between how confident the site looks and how confident a first-time visitor actually feels was the starting friction for this redesign.

What Kept Repeating

What Kept Repeating

Across yacht and luxury travel sites, the same gaps showed up. Booking forms that ask for details before explaining what they mean, event and destination listings with no clear starting point for someone new, and premium visuals that aren't matched by equally premium guidance.

What this Design had to Solve

What this Design had to Solve

What this Design had to Solve

Guide people through unfamiliar terms instead of assuming they already know them. Keep every listing, events, destinations, fleet visually consistent so trust builds page to page. And make the booking flow feel like the start of the experience, not a form standing between someone and it.

Trust had to come Before the Pitch

Trust had to come Before the Pitch

The nav went through a few rounds of cuts. Not every idea (blog, special offers) earned a permanent spot once the flow was sketched out. But one placement stayed firm from the first draft: the stats — 500+ trips, 50+ yachts, 70+ destinations sit right after the hero, before any selling starts. For a first-time charterer, proof comes before persuasion.
